Food Justice

Home Produce Projectis an initiative from the Food Justice Program, which is aimed to support families of the South Bronx to produce organic vegetables in their homes. This project aims to further the education of these families regarding healthy diet, free of contaminants.

South Bronx Farmers Market is another initiative within the food justice program which aims to offer the residents of our communities the opportunity to purchase fresh and healthy vegetables at affordable prices directly from farmers.  This project has a component to teach neighbors practical ways to prepare healthy foods.
